Studies emphasize the experimental and theoretical aspects of analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, theoretical chemistry, and chemical physics, including their biological applications. Graduate courses provide a foundation for original research, with introductions to specialized literature and advanced methodology. Sophisticated instruments and computers complement the familiar tools of chemical research in preparing, characterizing, and understanding interesting molecules. Research projects can include interdisciplinary work in areas where chemistry, biology, mathematics, or physics have common goals. We invite you to realize your potential to move science forward with us. Your application for admission to the graduate program in chemistry is welcome and we will be pleased to assist in making arrangements for a visit to the department. Dr. William M. Jackson |
