Bio-Inorganic Chemistry

Bioinorganic chemistry is the study of inorganic compounds and their role in biochemical processes. Faculty interests at UC Davis include diverse topics such metalloenzymes involved in DNA repair and photosynthesis, metal-containing ribozymes, metal complexes in biological imaging and bioinorganic spectroscopy.
